Any number from 1 off to thousands off. Process and pattern equipment/tooling produced to suit numbers off and frequency of call off. Fully discussed at enquiry and prototype / first off stage.

We can supply raw, proof machined and fully machined castings.

Can you supply castings with surface finishes such as Anodise, Alacrome or paint?

Castings can be supplied in the natural state or with a variety of surface treatments such as anodising, plating, alacrome, painting or lacquering.

Will you undertake prototype castings?

We can offer a full prototype service to prove your design before going into batch production.

We are happy, where a customer has a regular repeating requirement, to operate Kamban or traffic light systems to ensure continuity of supply.

Can you use our existing pattern equipment as it is?

Where a customer has existing pattern equipment, we will usually be able to use it to produce the required castings although it may require some modification in some instances to fit in with production methods.

Where a customer has existing pattern equipment we will usually be able to use it to produce the required castings, although it may require some modification in some instances to fit in with production methods.
Loose patterns can be used in the system if need be.

Can you supply test certificates relating to the castings you supply?

|
|
Letters of conformity, certificates of analysis and test certificates can be issued relating to all castings if requested in the order. Those which require test bars or test coins to be manufactured and processed will however incur a cost.

Can you give traceability if it is required?
|
|

|
Traceability can be applied if requested in the order.

Can you undertake a fixed delivery schedule?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Fixed delivery dates and schedules can be adhered to if agreed and stated on the order.

Can you supply first article inspection?
|

|
|
|
|
First article inspection reports will be issued to a customer when requested but may incur a cost.

What process do you use?

Processes used in the casting supply chain: Sand Casting, Gravity Die, Pressure Die, Investment Casting.
Also stampings, pressings and moulded rubber components are supplied.
