Raw castings are produced in accordance with the relevant metal/material specifications and are subject to initial visual inspections. Machining is only carried out in ISO9001:2015 accredited machine shops that are responsible for machining operations. Certificates of Conformance are available on request. NovaCast’s Quality Assurance Department is responsible for final checks and sign-off prior to dispatch according to our QA Processes.
NovaCast Far East Sourced Castings
NovaCast has many well-established, fully risk-managed relationships with foundries and machine shops in the Far East. Imported goods are checked according to BS6001 @ AQL 1%. Material analysis reports are issued by the supplier but additional independent checks are carried out by NovaCast to confirm material specification.
